Maxine Fox is the owner of Canine Services. She received a Bachelor of Science in Animal Science as well as a K-12 science teaching certification from Rutgers University and has devoted both her career and hobbies to animals. She has worked in the field of veterinary medicine for over 25 years as both a technician in private practice and a veterinary scientist in industry. In addition, she spent over 10 years training her own dogs under the mentoring of obedience trainer and AKC judge Ms. Vicki Brown via the Delaware Valley Kennel Club and assisting others in basic pet and AKC competition obedience trials. She earned 2 obedience titles as well as the Canine Good citizen certification on her dogs. Experienced in training all breeds for puppy and basic obedience spanning over 25 years. Additional training received in behavior modification allows her to help dogs with fear, aggression, separation anxiety and other issues using positive based methods.She is certified to train through the Council of Professional Dog Trainers, with a title of CPDT-KA and is also a member of the International Association of Animal Behavior Consultants and APDT. Maxine has been consistently developing her skills via continuing education to help her clients with behavior issues such as fear aggression, impulse control, reactivity, resource guarding, and separation anxiety.
